Ellsworth VFW Post 109 teamed up with Bill Baker’s Culinary Arts students at the Hancock County Technical Center to provide Thanksgiving dinners to more than 200 seniors Saturday at the post home. Members of the Women’s Auxiliary and community volunteers served. The students prepared 50 pies, 30 dozen rolls, 150 pounds of mashed potatoes, 100 pounds of squash, 60 pounds of turnips, 14 turkeys, 25 pounds of stuffing and 5 gallons of gravy.
