Maine State Game Warden Phil Richter talks about staying safe on the ice during Healthy Kids Day at the MDI YMCA on Saturday. Scores of area children learned about many aspects of water safety during the event and won a free life jacket in the process. The Bar Harbor Rotary club sponsored the life jacket giveaway.
