Acadia Community Theater’s production of “A Christmas Story” drew appreciative crowds to the Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor over the weekend, with standing room only in at least one instance. The cast included Joel Richardson as the adult Ralph, Eli McDonnell as Schwartz, Conner Wubbenhorst as Flick, Bonnie Snyder as Helen, Mary Paola as Ester Jane, Molly Damon as Mother, Lysso Sanborn as Randy, Kendrew VanGorder as young Ralphie, Peter Johnson as the Old Man, France Snyder as Black Bart, Miles Schuman as Farkas, Laurie Schreiber as Miss Shields, Rusell Snyder and Sarah Soucek as Christmas Tree Salesmen, Ian Braun as Delivery Man, Jeff Miller as Santa with Iris Aripotch and Sarah Soucek as his elves, townspeople portrayed by Ian Braun, Linda Kelley, Stephanie Clement, Jennifer Richardson and Sue Aripotch, and schoolchildren portrayed by Faith Reece, Geneva Stevens-Rosa, Iris Aripotch, Hayden Braun and Sarah Soucek.
