The annual Pemetic Elementary School Halloween Parade in Southwest Harbor last week attracted a throng of costumed participants. The Acadia Veterinary Hospital held a doggy parade. The Southwest Harbor Public Library sponsored a pumpkin carving competition. The band came out for the Mount Desert Elementary School Halloween parade, down Main St. in Northeast Harbor. All in all, Halloween was well celebrated on Mount Desert!
