Some 515 merrymakers turned out Saturday night for the 17th annual edition of the Poinsettia Ball. Sponsored by R.H. Foster Energy and Machias savings Bank, the ball at the Holiday Inn raised $50,000 for the F. Eugene Dixon Jr. Emergency Center at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.
