The 23 students from l’ecole Jean Vincent d’Abadie, a public elementary school in St. Castin, France, Castine Maine's sister city, came to meet their pen pals at the Adams School in Castine. They were placed with host families for their weeklong stay. When possible, they were matched with the families of the students they have been writing to. Last spring, Adams School students had a similar experience when they traveled to France.
