The new school is a “green” building featuring a geothermal heating system and other energy efficiencies. There are plans for a green roof on one of the new wings. The roof would be covered with plants, which would handle storm water runoff. School and city officials, teachers and representatives of architect Oak Point Associates and contractor J.C.N.
