Trojan Girls Win Fifth Straight PVC Cross-Country Title

Ellsworth Boys and Girls Win County Cross-Country Crowns : The Ellsworth Eagle girls nipped the Mount Desert Island Trojans by two points for the girls’ team title. The Eagle boys put five runners in the first six places to finish with 19 points — just four over the best possible score and well ahead of the runner-up Mount Desert Island Trojans, who finished with 46. EHS Boys Finish Second To Caribou at Invitational : The Caribou Vikings served notice on Saturday that they are the front-runners in the battle for Eastern Maine Class B cross-country supremacy this season. But there is every indication that they’ll face plenty of competition from the Ellsworth Eagles and the John Bapst Crusaders as the season unfolds.
